The greatest photo in the history of rock & roll. Photographer Pennie Smith took the iconic shot of Paul Simonon at a 1979 Clash show at the Palladium in NYC. The shot would grace the band's 3rd album with a design that pays homage to early rock & roll icon Elvis Presley.
