Nicolas Jaar: Nymphs II (180g) Vinyl 12"

Nicholas Jaar goes deep. The latest on his own Other People imprint, Nymphs II touches on introspective ambient soundscapes fused with his genre-defying house-not-house vibe for a sublime listening experience. The whole record was recorded in NYC between 2011 and 2015, leading me to think the two tracks - "The three sides of Audrey and why she’s all alone now" and "No one is looking at U" - took sometime to fully develop. Listen closely to Jaar's intricate layering, surreal samples, and arching composition as it creates a movie in your mind. Heavyweight 180 gram pressing.
