Ikebe Shakedown: Hard Steppin / The Prisoner Vinyl 7"

Flames. Ikebe Shakedown bring that afro-funk heat straight to your ear hole on their debut 7" from 2009. The Brooklyn eight-piece keeps it extra tight with bullet proof drums and soul-shaking horns on "Hard Steppin," a track that fully lives up to its name. On the flip, the band cools it out with the steady, heavy vibes of "The Prisoner." Quality as always from Colemine.
