"Gal is a landmark 1969 studio album by legendary Brazilian vocalist Gal Costa that represents a definitive explosion of the countercultural Tropicália movement. The record brilliantly fuses traditional bossa nova and samba grooves with aggressive psychedelic rock, frantic electric guitars, and Costa's raw, avant-garde vocal experimentations." - Ipanema Sun
