Esnard Boisdur vs Frankie Francis & Simbad: Soufwans Vinyl 12"

Heavyweight sounds from Sofrito.  The UK label constantly pushes things forward, case in point with this incredible release from Esnard Boisdur, Frankie Francis & Simbad. For the uninitiated, Boisdur is a key figure in the Gwo Ka, the folkloric rhythm of Guadeloupe. Here his 1991 track "Soufwans" gets a 21st century upgrade courtesy of Frankie Francis & Simbad. The duo lace the track with moody Detroit style pads and tech'd out bass resulting in pure dance fire pon di floor. Oh and did I mention, this thing goes DEEP. Comes in two flavors, "3AM Mix" and "Dub Mix."
