"Renowned DJ and producer Diplo continues his journey into the lawless, genre-blending land of phonk music, bringing together the sounds of collaborators in the hip-hop, hyperpop and dance spaces. Across this project, he’s joined by Three 6 Mafia members Juicy J and Project Pat, as well as genre stalwarts Odetari, Kordhell, 1nonly, DVRST and many more. As a lifelong fan of Memphis rap, Diplo credits much of his love for music to phonk. Transformed from its roots in 2000s Memphis hip-hop by hyperonline Russian teens, the genre is now taking a swing through Brazil and back into the mainstream." - Mad Decent
