Darondo is the truth! Three producers from around the globe pay their respects to the Bay Area soul legend with respectful reworks of his most beloved track. "Didn't I" is the epitome of soul music - a smoldering ballad that tugs at the heartstrings and showcases Darondo's one-of-a-kind vocal talents. Here GUTS adds a subtle boom-bap for a steady headnod, while Florent F funks it up with some smokin' breaks. Dave Allison keeps the dancefloor in mind on his rework, and though these are fantastic homages... nothing compares to the original (which is thankfully also included)!
