Burial: Young Death / Nightmarket Vinyl 12"

Burial returns with his first 12" on Hyperdub in three years. Wasting no time, "Young Death" rolls out the repurposed R&B vocals and bittersweet synths over a steady blurping beat to reassure us that even if it felt like we were lost, Burial was never far away. Flip side "Nightmarket" is a deep spread of signature urban ambience, deploying all the familiar ingredients (rain, crackle, video game samples) to build a rich world from the ground up. Next level deepness, recommended.
