Black Orange Juice: We Started Alone 12"

Forward vocal dance grooves from Black Orange Juice on their debut EP for True Panther. On We Started Alone, the UK-based trio, add a new school LDN twist to classic house flavors. Ossie (who you might recognize from his past releases on Hyperdub and 20/20 Vision) is behind these deep and propulsive rhythms, but shifts the focus on his homies Paul Black and Tilz who handle vocal duties like nobody's business. The result is the combination of numerous influences, from current garage and funky, to classic house and techno, that ultimately bring down the walls and move the crowd. Check "Started In Paris," "Alone," and "I Don't Know." Also includes Joe Goddard on the remix.
