"Too young and wild" for Miles Davis? Married to Davis for one year, Betty Davis is credited with inspiring Miles' psychedelic period including Bitches Brew. Her solo music career was less heralded than her work as a muse; but has since been rediscovered and championed by record collectors and funk aficionados. This is a deluxe Light In The Attic pressing of her second album. File this under "funk staple" right next to your Parliament and James Brown records, it's that potent. Recommended.
